I’m the recent author of two novels and my passion as a writer is to tell gut wrenching stories about characters challenged with dilemmas and forced to make choices which lead them along paths most might consider immoral or unethical. That’s my niche as a writer. My storylines are never simple because my characters are complex and emotionally vulnerable. So, if what you’re looking for is a simple read, you might want to try other writers. But if you like thought provoking stories with entertaining twists and turns, give my books a try.

My first novel, Leaving the Bones Behind, presents readers with a story within a story. On one level, it’s about a man struggling against Alzheimer’s for enough time to define the legacy he wants to leave his children. Within that context it’s also a Michael Crichton-like medical mystery thriller based on science yet centered in heartfelt humanity.

My most recent work is Gabriel's Covenant. It will be introduced on Amazon and Barnes & Noble this Spring (2012). The book is about five days in the life of Joshua Braxton and his journey to the Thornton Wilder-like town of Gabriel’s Crossing. Traveling in Augustus, his 39 Chev, with his lifelong pal Norm, and his unforgettable dog,Tasman, will carry you to a place where death with dignity is an act that pushes the human conscience to its limit.
